Jesse J Flo Suntele, the dynamic talent who emerged as the second season winner of Top Actor Africa on BET, quickly captured the public’s attention with his versatility. An international actor with a growing global presence, he first gained recognition with a memorable guest appearance on SABC 1's popular soapie Generations: The Legacy, before securing a recurring role on E.TV's Ashes to Ashes.

 

His acting career continued to soar as he took on roles in SABC 1’s Mutual Friends, Mzansi Magic’s The Queen, and E.TV's Rhythm City. His undeniable talent also saw him anchor the popular BET show A-List, alongside fellow stars Nomzamo Mbatha, Nandi Madida, and Jessica Nkosi. He broadened his career horizons by participating in Vuzu Amp’s reality competition series The Hustle, where he performed under the name J Flo. His music journey reached new heights with a collaboration with the iconic South African singer Kelly Khumalo on the hit song ‘Jehova’, which went Gold. In 2021, he released his EP What Did You Expect, featuring the chart-topping single ‘Premonition’ with Yung Tyran, solidifying his place as a force in both acting and music.
